Your first stop is the island of Miyajima, celebrated for the Itsukushima Shrine—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meander through the sacred grounds, marvelling at the torii gate that seems to float on water during high tide. As you wander, encounter temples and gardens, their beauty amplified by cherry blossoms in spring.

Enjoy a brief ferry ride back to the mainland, offering views of the coastline and shrine from the water. The tour then proceeds to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a symbol of remembrance and hope. Here, witness the Atomic Bomb Dome and reflect on Hiroshima’s enduring message of peace.

Arrive early at Kyoto Station to board the train smoothly. You’ll travel on your own, as the guide will not join you on the train. Upon arrival in Hiroshima, your guide will be waiting outside Hiroshima station, at the Shinkansenguchi Hiroba Bus Berth, with an Amigo Tours sign.
