What to expect

This is a tour for those wishing to make the most out of your holiday in Corfu. Join a full-day excursion to the spectacular country of eagles, Albania. A country full UNESCO world heritage sites.

Your excursion begins at the international port of Corfu, to go through passport control. Then cruise the blue seas of the Ionian Sea towards the Albanian coast and after an hour you will reach the city port of Sarandë.

If you have purchased the 'tour without lunch' ticket, you will now enjoy free time until you take your cruise back to Corfu. If you have purchased the 'tour with lunch' ticket you will follow your guide to visit the city of Sarandë known as the “Pearl of the Balkans”. Built on the ruins of the ancient city of Onchismou, flourished during the Roman times, destroyed in 552 AD only to be founded again as a modern city during the Ottoman era.

Follow an optional excursion if you wish, starting from the archaeological city of Butrint and ending at Lekoursi castle. The board a bus towards Butrint, and a local guide will inform you about the history, the civilization, and the culture of this part of the Balkans. After Butrint it is time for lunch in a traditional restaurant in the city of Sarandë.

After lunch, you will follow the path of a historical route driving to Lekuresi castle. Admire a panoramic view of the Ionian and the Adriatic Sea. Finally, you will head back to the port and cruise back to Corfu.
