Often referred to as the cultural capital of Costa Blanca, Altea's one of those Spanish towns that's got charm by the bucketload. This evening trip takes you to see Altea by night and discover the two sides – old and new – of this popular hilltop town under the sparkle of the stars.
Recognisable for its blue-domed church and sweeping views across the bay, Altea is as picturesque as it comes. You'll travel from Benidorm in the evening to tour the town by night. And first, you'll head to the harbour, where the seafront promenade unfolds along the coast towards the quaint port.
Afterwards, you'll head up the hill into the old town – which is virtually car free – to explore winding cobbled lanes, flower-fronted buildings and pretty squares. The best bit is that by night, you'll be able to look out over the bay that glitters with all the lights reflected in the water.
