Der Krater von Santorin wurde vor 3500 Jahren durch einen gewaltigen Ausbruch geformt und ist eines der größten Naturschauspiele im Mittelmeer. Lassen Sie es sich nicht entgehen, per Boot ganz nah an den Krater heranzukommen und die umliegenden Vulkaninseln zu erkunden.

Auf dieser morgendlichen Bootsfahrt an Bord eines hölzernen Segelbootes wird Kurs auf Nea Kameni und Palea Kameni genommen – zwei unbewohnten Lavainseln. Wandern Sie hinauf zum Krater von Nea Kameni, schreiten Sie über warme Lava, um die aufsteigenden Dämpfe zu sehen und genießen Sie die Aussicht über Santorin.

Anschließend warten die Thermalquellen von Palea Kameni, wo Sie die Möglichkeit haben, im mineralreichen Wasser zu schwimmen, das Temperaturen von bis zu 35 °C erreichen kann. Dann geht es zurück auf das Boot, um an der Küste entlang zu fahren, wo die charakteristischen weiß getünchten Häuser hoch über den nördlichen Rändern des Kraters ragen, bevor sie zum Hafen zurückkehren.
