What to expect

This is the “must” of your holidays; an unforgettable boat trip around Skiathos to see its contrasting beauty and lush vegetation.

The boat leaves Skiathos port at approx. 09:15 and heads up to the north of the island. After passing the Blue Caves the first stop is the white-pebbled beach called Lalaria. This beach cannot be reached except by boat! The guests will spend aprox. 1 hour in Lalaria swimming and enjoying the scenery and then there is a further 5 min. journey to the old village of Kastro.

Kastro was the old capital of the island. Υοu have the possibility to go up to the old town and visit the ruinsGuests will be able to see them from the beach or walk up to the main gate of the old city. During the 1 hour stay there you can enjoy the scenery and of course swim for a 2nd time.

The next stop will be at Katigiorgis, a small fishing village in Pelion Mountain, or Asselinos beach. There everyone will have plenty of time for lunch or for swimming. (Lunch is not included in the price).

Leaving from the 3rd stop of the day, you will sail past some of the most famous Skiathos beaches (Mandraki, Agia Eleni, Banana, Koukounaries), before finally reaching Tsougrias island, which will be the last destination of the day. This truly magical beach and its crystal-clear waters will make you feel like you are on a tropical paradise.

Arrival back to Skiathos at approx. 17.30.

Skiathos Town Evening Tour with Local Liqueur Tasting

Are you ready to fall in love with the charm and character of Skiathos Town on this laid-back town walk? We'll kick things off by wandering along Papadiamantis Street – the heart of the town, packed with shops, cafés and everyday local life. From there, we'll stroll up to the Church of the Three Hierarches, a striking slice of island history. Vasilis, one of our expert guides, says, ‘Only a few steps from the centre of town are hidden corners, with beautiful churches and peaceful cobbled streets. Skiathos played a hugely symbolic role in Greece's fight for independence – our first flag was raised here in 1807.'Next, we'll swing by the Skiathitiko Spiti – an old home-turned-museum where you'll get a feel for how islanders lived back in the day. Then it's on to the maze-like Plakes quarter, with its narrow lanes and timeworn houses, bright splashes of bougainvillea and classic blue shutters. Limnia is next, where you'll have the chance to pop into either Panagia Limnia or the Holy Trinity Church – both full of stories and island spirit.We'll follow a coastal path down to the Old Port, soaking up the sea views before heading back towards the start. But not before one final stop – the House of Alexandros Papadiamantis, one of Greece's literary legends. Just next door is Café Nostalgos – said to be his old haunt – where we'll wrap up the tour with a drink and some dreamy views.
