Leuke ervaring, lange sledetocht met pauze halverwege, jammer was dat het erg druk was bij de blokhut en geen tijd om wat te warms te drinken. Even snel een water genomen. Sneeuw was die dag keihard na regen/dooi en weer opvriezen, dus de honden waren moeilijk af te remmen met de rem op de slee. Dit had de gids tijdens de uitleg wel mogen vertellen! Maar eindoordeel, echt een gave ervaring rijker!
This mountain tour is a popular adventure and a guaranteed magical way to experience the snowy mountains around Sälen together with friends or family.
Upon meeting your guide, you will be given a short driving and safety instruction course and you will meet the huskies who will take you through the beautiful landscape. You are now ready to head into the mountains, with guides available to assist you at all times during your journey. A guide will drive the first sled and you will follow safely in their tracks, pulled by your team of huskies.
The tour will give you a greater view of the natural surroundings of Sälen and you will hear the story of one of Sälen's oldest mountain huts, the cosy cabin of Storfjällsgraven. You will reach Storfjällsgraven about halfway through the tour and you will make a short stop where you can get waffles, coffee and hot chocolate. Of course, there will also be enough time to cuddle with the dogs!
