What to expect

Enjoy a snorkel tour with pickup from your accommodation in Phuket. This tour is suitable for all levels of snorkeling experiences.

Your pickup will meet you at your accommodation, and will take you to Tao Than Pier in Lam Kaen; here you will enjoy a light breakfast, and collect your snorkeling gear.
Thanks to a speedboat, you will reach the Similan Islands in about 80 minutes. The first snorkeling stop will be at Koh Miang, where you will spend some time at the beach and explore its underwater world, before enjoying a Thai style lunch and seasonal fruits on the serene sandy beach of Princess Bay.
The next stop will be Koh Payu, home of the East of Eden reef, that ranges from 5 to 40 meters; followed by Christmas Point at Koh Bangu. The last stop will be at the calm waters of Donald Duck Bay on Koh Similan, here you can relax on the beach or hike to the island's viewpoint at Sailing Rock.

Once you head back to Tao Than Pier, a light snack with fresh fruits and drinks will be waiting for you.

Get picked up from your hotel in Phuket (except Pa Khlok, Ao Por, Bang Rong, Coconut Island and Laem Hin areas). The exact pickup time will be confirmed by email after you have made the booking, please check your spam folder. Please wait for your pickup at the hotel lobby 15 minutes before the indicated time.

What to remember

This tour is not recommended for pregnant women, infants under 4 years, people over 69 years or people with back or neck problems
Please bring a dry bag, towel, swimwear, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, flip-flops and a camera
The speedboat will carry you as close to the beach as possible, so you can hop off and on easily
Wear flip-flops in case there are shells or rocks on the sand and shorts rather than pants as the water level may be above the knees when hopping off/on the boat
Important, upon booking please send a copy of the passport ID page for all travelers to the local operator, it will be shared with the Thai Marine Department, and it's compulsory to confirm the tour. Local operator contacts can be found in the voucher after booking
Important, on the day of the tour, please also bring a digital photo of the passport on your phone or a copy of the passport to the trip
There is a minimum of 4 people required to run this activity, on the rare occasion that the trip gets cancelled, the local operator will inform you in advance and offer a different travel date, an alternative activity or provide a full refund

Similan islands are breathtaking.However, the journey back to the hotel was unbearable. The aircon on the minibus wasn't working. We were travelling for 3 hours. There were 11 people in the car. There was no air to brief. I did ask the driver to put the Aircon on. He said it's on. Which wasn't the case. There wasn't an option to open window. My drinking water became warm. I had several panic attacks during this journey which left me with a massive migraine and my partner being sick all night.
