What to expect

Enjoy private transfer service from your accommodation in Petra or Wadi Rum to Aqaba by the Red Sea. The trip is around 1.5 hours during which you will enjoy the landscape views of the southern side of Jordan.

Aqaba is a fun place and a microcosm of all the good things Jordan has to offer, including a fascinating history with some outstanding sites and excellent activities, superb visitor facilities, and good shopping. You will visit Mamluk Castle "Aqaba Fort"; the scene of a great Arab victory in July 1916 when this heavily defended Turkish stronghold fell to a daring Arab camel charge.

The fort is located next to the Aqaba Flagpole which carries the flag of the Arab revolt again the Ottomans. Adjacent to the fort is the Aqaba Archaeological Museum. The museum next to the fort was once the residence of Sharif Hussein, after the visit, you head to the south beach of Aqaba to enjoy access to one of the private beaches with a Discovery Glass Bottom Cruise tour with lunch (Snorkeling cruise for 2 and towel with free access to use the private beach facilities and Lunch).
