What to expect

Take the chance to visit Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius, the most visited sites of the Campania region! Discover how the stories of the two sites have intersected forever and live a day in the spirit of Campania's history and culture, also tasting a delicious pizza for lunch.

First, your tour guide will show you the landmarks of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, including the thermal baths, the frescos of the Lupanare, the Macellum, and the Basilica. After the tour of Pompeii, drive up mount Vesuvius and stop in a typical restaurant located in a panoramic point along the volcano slopes. Enjoy your pizza lunch made with local and genuine products.

Your driver will lead you to 1000 meters and then you will walk to the real top of the volcano to see the crater. At the summit, you can choose to enjoy an explanation by a professional tour guide of the National Park, or just peek into the crater on your own. You will admire the summit of Mount Somma (1133 mt.) and the cone of Vesuvius (1281 mt.) separated by a valley, called Valley of the Giant.
