Begin at the visitor centre near the park entrance, passing landmarks like the Three Penguins and the Moab Fault. Pause at Park Avenue to admire the stunning formations and layers, or take a hike into the park. Take in views of the snow-capped La Sal mountains and iconic formations like the Three Gossips, Courthouse Towers, and Sheep Rock.
Continue deeper into the park to see the petrified dunes and desert scrub. Learn about the Ute and Paiute people, their mythologies, and the challenges they faced during encounters with Spanish colonizers and Mormon settlers. Visit the famous Balanced Rock before heading to the Windows Arches, Double Arch, and Cache Valley, where you can marvel at Delicate Arch, Wolfe Ranch, and tribal petroglyphs. Choose whether to hike closer or view these landmarks from a distance.
End your journey at the Devil’s Garden, the park’s farthest point. Explore formations like the Fiery Furnace, Sand Dune Arch, and Skyline Arch, or hike to Landscape Arch for breathtaking views of this surreal landscape.
