    Travelled as a couple

    Everything I expected from my first sailing experience and more! I needed to try this before taking the Day Skipper Course and then return to the Mediterranean for more voyages and adventures just like this. A big Thankyou to Lewis & the team. A Sailor hath no better thing to do than eat, drink & be merry with the rest of the crew, take care everyone, Jason.

    despite the TUI info saying a maximum of 7 guests per trip there were 12 on ours The boat was relatively small so it was rather cramped, certainly no space to sun yourself on deck Our captain was wonderful and went above and beyond to get all involved People on our trip were Spanish speaking so this was the language predominantly spoken, again this didn’t detract from a fun time Drinks water, fanta orange, fanta lemon, coke zero and beer in 2ltr bottles, food was tasty 3 courses + snack, 3 swim

    Travelled with family

    Enjoyed the day alot, despite having a bit of sea sickness. Thought there could have been a bit more choice of food just because there wasn't much my daughter liked. But the Captain was really friendly. We got picked up door to door 8.45 - 18.00hrs. The coves were really good!

Nicola, en av våra kunniga lokalguider, säger: "Om man skrapar under ytan hittar man det brittiska inflytandet i många äldre byggnader, som fönsterbågar, paneldörrar, lunetter och mycket mer. En unik menorcansk detalj är den rubinröda färgen på dessa hus.Först ut är en båttur med glasbotten i Mahons hamn - den näst största i världen. Glid fram mellan befästa holmar och beundra de överdådiga villorna som kantar vattnet på båda sidor. Några av dem är från 1700-talet, då Menorca var en brittisk koloni. Därefter åker vi vidare till det gamla gindestilleriet Xoriguer för ett guidat besök. Menorcas favoritdryck har tillverkats här med samma recept sedan 1736 - ytterligare en symbol för öns brittiska arv.Du får också tid på egen hand att vandra runt i Mahon och beundra de georgianska radhusen, barockkyrkorna, de palmkantade torgen och de smala kullerstensgatorna. Gå till det centralt belägna Plaça del Carme, där det finns en marknad med försäljare som säljer allt från charkuterier till färsk frukt under korsgångarna i ett kloster från 1600-talet. Den lokala fyrkantiga osten är mycket uppskattad i hela Spanien.

Legenden fortsätter med berättelser om att han blev förälskad i en lokal flicka, vilket leder till en romantisk men tragisk historia som ger en mystisk känsla till denna fantastiska plats”.Det roliga börjar med en båttur runt Mahons hamn. Den 5 km långa hamnen är en av världens största naturhamnar. Den kantas av historiska byggnader och befästningar och är översållad med öar. Tillbaka på torra land blir det en rundtur i Mahon stad följt av lite ledig tid. Nicola tillägger: ”Än idag syns spåren av det sekellånga brittiska styret - du kan se fönster med bågar och fönsterbågar, dörrlås och handtag precis som du skulle göra i Storbritannien." Upptäck sedan sockerbitsbyn Binibeca och dess vitkalkade hus.Bara lite längre österut längs kusten ligger Cova d'en Xoroi, en bar som är unikt inrymd i en grotta på en klippa. Här kan du smutta på en uppfriskande drink medan du njuter av den hisnande havsutsikten från Menorcas utan tvekan coolaste bar.
