Fantastic trip and the guide was amazing. Only wish we didn’t spent much time at the perfume and papyrus shop so we could have more time at the museum which felt short. Other than that, was a great experience and would recommend! Note that it took 23.5h and not 18h from start to finish
Get ready for a day packed with ancient wonders on this history-drenched full-day guided tour. You’ll visit some of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks, including the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the treasure-filled Egyptian Museum.
After an early start, you’ll arrive in Giza, home to one of Egypt’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Then, stop by the Great Sphinx, carved directly from the bedrock and sitting proudly on the Giza Plateau.
After a tasty lunch, you’ll head into central Cairo to visit the world-renowned Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Its exceptional treasures include the mummies and the gilded mask of Yuya and Thuya - found in the Valley of the Kings and remarkable for their extraordinary preservation and lifelike features. The museum is home to the largest collection of pharaonic artefacts. It’s absolutely packed with ancient treasures – think glittering jewellery, ancient mummies, and statues that have stood the test of time. You’ll have plenty of time to wander around and soak it all in.
