Why you’ll love this…
  • Dolphin watching cruise
  • Sail on one of the biggest catamarans in the world
  • Time to relax, swim and have lunch
  • Banana boat ride
  • Open bar and on-board hot tub
What to expect

Once you're aboard the Supercat catamaran - one of the biggest sailing catamarans in the world – you'll cruise off southern Gran Canaria in search of dolphins. The calm, warm waters here are home to many of these amazing creatures. Then you'll anchor down for some swimming, lunch and relaxation.

Catch the breezes on deck as you watch for your first glimpse – you'll often just see a fleeting shadow or flash of dorsal fin before a playful pod surges into view. Then, with a bit of luck, you'll be treated to an incredible show as they leap, plunge and race through the water alongside you.

After a couple of hours searching for dolphins, we'll head to a bay in the southwest of the island where you'll be able to sit back, relax, dip your toes in the ocean or enjoy a banana boat ride. There's even an on-board hot tub and a bar flowing with beer, sangria and soft drinks as well as a tasty lunch on offer. A perfect way to unwind and top up your tan.

Staff friendly, lovely experience. Downsides were people smoking in dining area, limited choice of good given for lunch. Trying to sell water activities.

Lovely boat, friendly happy crew. Was everything we expected, transfers got us to the boat nice and early so we got a good spot at the front. Really good value for money, food and drink ok, probably the only improvement would be to offer vegetarian option to the chicken at lunch.

The only issues I had was around transfers from hotel to port. Poor signage and lack of communication were at fault. The Supercat catamaran itself is a superb craft. Very well equipped. Crew were very friendly, helpful and passenger safety aware. The onboard entertainment, food and drinks were fantastic. The extra options of watersports were fun and great value. Overall it was a great fun filled day.
