What to expect

Experience the natural wonders, history and culture of Barbados on this delightful full-day tour. Begin your journey at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, where you might catch a glimpse of the playful green monkey amongst a host of other animals. From there, you'll ascend Cherry Tree Hill, proceed to St. Nicholas Abbey, and see one of the last 17th-century residences on the continent.

This plantation house, built around 1658 from brick and limestone, is likely the last remaining authentic 17th-century residence in the "New World". Constructed just 30 years after the British settled Barbados, it stands as a testament to the island's rich history. The plantation also produces award-winning rum, and you'll have the opportunity to sample some during your visit. To enhance your experience, consider adding the Heritage Railway option. At the chairman railway station, board a restored steam engine for a ride that offers spectacular views.

After a morning filled with adventure, savour local cuisine during a lunch stop, giving you a true taste of Barbadian flavours. No visit to Barbados would be complete without stopping in Bathsheba, renowned for its awe-inspiring beauty and pounding surf. The tour concludes with a visit to Anthony Hunte's masterpiece garden, a sinkhole transformed into one of the most magical spots on the island. This immersive tour truly encapsulates the essence of Barbados, offering an unforgettable exploration of its natural beauty and cultural heritage.

The guide Lisa was friendly knowledgeable and likable. The wildlife park was run down and tatty and definitely not worth the money, I’d have rather spent more time in Bathsheba.

We had our own personal guide as we was the only 2 people on the tour. It was disappointing that we missed the monkey feeding time as we went to st Nicholas Abbey first , but then we spent too much time and missed the 11 am feed , out fault not the guides. All in all a good day though.

Lisa our guide was wonderful. The wild life reserved was great we saw monkeys, turtles, peacocks and much more. The train ride was a little short would have liked to have stayed on it longer. Hunters garden was beautiful highly recommended. The food stop was lovely we had a choice of fish or chicken. Over all it was a great trip and it consisted of 3 small groups on our bus 6 people in total.
