Dieser vormittägliche Ausflug in die romantische Stadt Rethymno bietet viel freie Zeit für Erkundungen auf eigene Faust. Die Fahrt geht entlang der Westküste Kretas nach Rethymno, wo Geschichte, Architektur und entspannte Atmosphäre nur darauf warten, entdeckt zu werden.

Nach der Ankunft gibt es viele Möglichkeiten, die Zeit zu verbringen. Bei einem Spaziergang über den Wochenmarkt verzaubern die Gerüche der frischen Produkte und verlocken zum Verkosten. Hier lassen sich auch viele Souvenirs finden. Die beeindruckende Festung mit ihrem Labyrinth aus engen Gassen, die entlang bezaubernder historischer Gebäude verlaufen, ist ebenfalls einen Besuch wert.

Ein entspannender Spaziergang entlang des malerischen venezianischen Hafens bietet faszinierende Ausblicke auf das leuchtend blaue Meer, farbenfrohe Fischerboote und vieles mehr. In den vielen traditionellen Cafés und Restaurants kann man bei einer Pause gut die entspannte mediterrane Atmosphäre auf sich wirken lassen.
