Sie fahren direkt in die Berge im Inselinneren. Auf Haarnadelkurven schlängeln Sie sich durch die Mondlandschaft des Roque de Moro, einem der höchsten Vulkangipfel der Insel. Lassen Sie Ihre Blicke über die zerklüftete Westküste schweifen, bevor Sie hinunter nach Cofete fahren. Dieses einsam gelegene Dorf beherbergt die mysteriöse Villa Winter, die, Gerüchten zufolge, ein Nazi-Versteck nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg gewesen sein soll.

Am Strand von Cofete legen Sie einen Fotostopp ein, und, falls das Wetter mitspielt, können Sie an der Ostküste noch etwas Zeit am Strand verbringen, bevor es weiter nach El Puertito geht. Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura Ticket

Oasis Wildlife is home to a huge variety of birds, reptiles and African animals, living as close to their natural habitat as possible. There's a successful breeding programme here and recent arrivals include giraffes, sea lions and hippos. Get up close to many of them at the sea lion, reptile and birds of prey shows. In between shows, you can come eye-to-eye with the giraffes on the viewing platform, laugh at the antics of the cheeky chimps, admire the elephants and take pictures of the meerkats, otters, zebras and hippos – the list is endless. Cofete 4x4 Safari Tour

The plunging volcanic landscape of Fuerteventura's mountainous interior goes far beyond its sun-soaked beaches. And there's no better way to navigate this rugged and somewhat unforgiving terrain is on this full-day 4x4 tour.You'll head straight for the island's central mountains. Heading off-road onto hairpin tracks, you'll bump around the lunar-like landscapes of the Roque de Moro, one of the island's highest volcanic peaks. Here, you'll get breathtaking views over the buffeted west coast before dropping down to Cofete. This mostly abandoned village is home to the mysterious Winter Villa – rumoured to have been a Nazi hideout after World War II.There'll be a photo stop on Cofete beach, and, if the weather's right, extra beach time on the east coast, before you make your way to El Puertito.
