Beschreibung

Fernab der Küste ist dieser Teil der Türkei eine Art großer Abenteuerspielplatz, der von Mutter Natur selbst gestaltet wurde. Wir sprechen hier über zerklüftete Berggipfel, dichte Wälder und tiefe Flusstäler. Und eines von diesen letzteren ist auch das Ziel auf diesem Ausflug.

Eine Wildwasserfahrt in der Köprülü-Schlucht in den Bergen! Zunächst geht die Fahrt in das Dorf Beskonak am Ufer des Flusses. Dort erfolgt die Einweisung in die Sicherheitsbestimmungen, bevor Helm und Rettungsweste angelegt werden. Auf dem Schlauchboot finden maximal 8 Personen inkl. des Ausflugsleiters Platz und schon kann es losgehen. Während das Boot immer schneller über das Wasser und die Stromschnellen schießt, fühlt man die herrlich frische Brise im Gesicht und das Adrenalin in den Adern rauschen.

Man sollte sich aber trotz aller Spannung auch etwas Zeit nehmen, um die faszinierende Umgebung zu beobachten. Hier genießt man einen Traumblick auf die steilen Klippen und Kiefernwälder, ein Anblick, den die meisten Touristen niemals zu Gesicht bekommen. Ein aufregendes Abenteuer! Die Stromschnellen sind allerdings eher ruhig und nicht zu turbulent und eignen sich damit auch perfekt für Anfänger. Ein kostenloses Mittagessen ist im Preis inbegriffen.

Narin, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Oymapinar Dam Lake is one of the largest reservoirs in Turkey, covering an area of approximately 19 square kilometres. Then you'll head inside either the ancient theatre, which is a sight to behold – it seated up to 20,000 spectators – or the former bathhouse, which is now a museum with a small but impressive collection of the artefacts dug up here.But one of the most-photographed spots is the Temple of Apollo.
