Diese Tour bietet alles, was man für einen tollen Tag in der Natur braucht. Ein vollgepackter Ausflug mit Besuchen in einem Schmetterlingspark, den Reisterrassen von Jatiluwih und dem Taman Ayun Tempel, um nur einige zu nennen. Und als Krönung gibt es auch noch ein leckeres Mittagessen. Unser ortskundiger Tourguide Nuri sagt: „Die Reisterrassen im Dorf Jatiluwih gehören zu den schönsten der Welt und werden durch ein traditionelles und ökologisches Bewässerungssystem aufrechterhalten, das seit dem 9. Jahrhundert angewandt wird, das Subak-System, eine auf Bali einzigartige Praxis, die philosophische und spirituelle Überzeugungen mit einbezieht.“

Beginnen Sie den Tag mit einem Spaziergang durch Balis Schmetterlingspark in Tabanan, einem Schmetterlings- und Insektenschutzgebiet mit Hunderten von Schmetterlingen, darunter einige seltene indonesische Arten wie der Vogelflügler, das Bali-Pfau und der Paradiesvogel. Schlendern Sie durch die labyrinthartigen Gärten und beobachten Sie die bunten Insekten, die um Sie herum flattern. Anschließend halten Sie an den Reisterrassen von Jatiluwih, die zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehören.

Weiter geht es ins Landesinnere zum Bergort Bedugul und zum Beratan-See. Hier werden Sie den berühmten hinduistischen Shaivite-Tempel Ulun Danu entdecken. Der auf einem kleinen Aussichtspunkt über dem See gelegene Tempel beherbergt die Wassergöttin Danu, von der man annimmt, dass sie das Bewässerungssystem der Insel kontrolliert. Schließlich besuchen Sie den Taman Ayun-Tempel, einen königlichen Tempel des Mengwi-Reiches aus dem 17.Jahrhundert. Inmitten riesiger Fischteiche gelegen, bedeutet der Name Taman Ayun übersetzt so viel wie „schöner Garten“ - was tatsächlich stimmt.
