Your adventure begins with a professional driver collecting you from your hotel and taking you to Chengdu Railway Station for an exciting bullet train ride to Xi’an. Upon arrival, a friendly local guide will meet you at the exit of the arrival hall, holding a sign with your name.
Your first destination is the world-famous Terracotta Army Museum, often hailed as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” En route, your guide will share intriguing stories about Emperor Qin Shi Huang and the accidental discovery of the warriors by local farmers in 1974. At the museum, you’ll explore three vast pits filled with life-sized terracotta soldiers, horses, and chariots, each uniquely crafted. The guide will explain their historical and artistic significance, bringing ancient China’s military might to life.
If you’d like to stop for lunch, just let your guide know (meal not included). Afterwards, visit the impressive 600-year-old Xi’an City Wall. Walk along its ancient path for sweeping views of the city’s blend of tradition and modern life. Time permitting, finish your tour in the vibrant Muslim Quarter, a maze of lively alleys with local street food, crafts, and cultural treasures.
In the evening, return to Xi’an Railway Station for the train back to Chengdu, where a driver will meet you and take you to your hotel.
