What to expect

Located east of Tbilisi, the Kakheti region is well-known for its wine. Taste your way through the region on this group tour.

On the way to Badiauri, you will see Georgian bread (shoti) baked during a master. In the monastery of Bodbi, where the great Georgian Saint Nino rests, you will follow the Christian path of Georgia and hear the legend about why Nino was buried in Bodba. After, you can immerse yourself in the healing waters of the holy spring.

Then, visit Sighnaghi and enjoy a big lunch. You will walk through the picturesque streets, see the longest castle wall in Europe and enjoy the panorama of the Alazni Valley. In the Telavi History Museum, you will visit the palace of King Erekle II. Enjoy the beautiful views, medieval monasteries, royal palaces and visit the wine producing region. In Telavi you will also visit a wine cellar and taste several types of traditional Georgian wine.
