What to expect

Picture-postcard Santorini is just around the corner on this half-day tour around the island. You'll find villages – big and small – beautiful scenery everywhere you look as well as history at Akrotiri excavation site and local flavours at a clifftop taverna.

This exclusive small-group tour gives you an in-depth introduction to the real Santorini. First stop will be the highest point on the island, Profitis Ilias, where you'll be able to survey the unfolding views and take in the majestic beauty of the island. Next, we'll visit the picturesque villages of Megalochori and Emporeio where you'll wander down historic narrow cobbled streets.

After that it's on to Akrotiri, where you'll be able to visit the excavation site or simply relax on the beach before visiting the jewel in the crown, Pharos lighthouse, whose views over the caldera are breathtaking. Having soaked up culture and scenery, it's time to soak up some local flavours with a traditional meze lunch with wine at a clifftop restaurant complete with views.

Santorini Volcanic Islands Cruise

The volcanic isles of the caldera are a must-see when in Santorini. On this full-day cruise, you'll climb aboard a wooden sailboat and glide to Nea Kameni, Palea Kameni and Thirassia – the three volcanic islets that breach from the water – and continue along the edge of the caldera.First up is Nea Kameni. Hike up to its crater, striding over solidified lava fields to see its steamy fumes. Take in the views over the harsh, moon-like landscapes and Santorini in the distance.
