What to expect

You'll spend the day in Thessaloniki, an ancient city that reflects its history in every street, with Roman, Neoclassical and modern-style buildings standing shoulder to shoulder. Start your guided tour up within the thick Byzantine walls and work your way down through the oldest part of the city, taking in the UNESCO-listed St Dimitris church, Rotonda and the Arch of Galerius.
