Things to do in Oslo Fjord
The Oslo Fjord is an inlet in the south-east of Norway that spans over 60 miles. The fjord ranges from the Torbjørnskjær and Færder lighthouses and consists of a group of islands that can be reached by ferry from Oslo.
Each of the islands in the innermost part of Oslo Fjord has its own distinguishing history and identity. Hovedøya is closest to the city center and is known for the monastery ruins which date back to the Middle Ages, and Langøyene is known for its beach and hiking trails and camping sites. The Gressholmen, Heggholmen, and Rambergøya islands are connected and offer great places for swimming and sunbathing.
The Oslo Fjord is a very popular tourist attraction in the summer and has a wide variety of actitivies. From guided kayak tours, to fjord-cruises and rib-boats, you can do it all. If you forgot to bring a bathing suit, or don't want to do any water activities, there are plenty of other attractions nearby the fjord. You can go for a hike on Langøyene, take a visit to the Opera House, or head to the Astrup Fearnley Museum or Viking Ship Museum where you see the best preserved Viking ships from the Stone Age and Bronze Age.

Reviews Oslo Fjord
“Great trip , well organised. Easy to book”
“Een prima eerste kennis making met Oslo en lekker gegeten.”
“It was rainy and the bottom deck was reserved for a big group (unfortunately) so we had to get a table up top & our bench was wet. The band sounded good but we couldn‘t see them. Some don't like shrimp so It would be great to have a second option for dinner. Friendly staff and beautiful scenery!”
“Mooie tocht. Alleen spijtig dat je niet echt binnen kan zitten. Aan te bevelen op een mooie zonnige dacht.Bij winderig en regenachtig minder. Maar het was een mooie ervaring.”
