What to remember

Not allowed:

  • due to new security measures, bags of any size, food and drinks are not allowed in the museums. If necessary, your guide will escort you to the lockers, so you can leave them during check-in
  • strict rules apply to enter the venues (no knives, no scissors, no glass bottles are allowed)

Know in advance:

  • a dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. You may risk being refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements

  • on the rare occasion that the Pietà Rondanini Museum is not available to visit, it will be replaced by a visit to the Museum of Ancient Art
  • some of the attractions may be subject to last-minute closures due to renovations, major celebrations, or special events. Should this happen, you'll be offered a full tour of the outside of the sites and other attractions, depending on the total duration of the tour
  • for the Last Supper visit, children up to the age of 1 do not need a reservation if they are carried by a parent and enter without a stroller
