The idyllic fishing village of Marsaxlokk with its colourful luzzus and unique character makes the unrivalled setting for the local market. This is the perfect place to spend Sunday morning where you can rub shoulders with the locals as you browse through the various stalls. You will continue your tour with a visit to the Blue Grotto (weather permitting - boat price not included) and the nearby caves.

Admire the whole expanse of the Blue Meditteranean and the islet of Filfla. Later our guide will help you explore one of Malta's unspoilt villages. From the main square, the hub of the village with its Parish Church and band club, you will be led through a maze of winding narrow streets that all have a story to be told.

Sabi, our guide was excellent with her knowledge & information. However, because of the weather, sea was very choppy, we did not get to see the blue grotto because the boatmen were not happy taking the small boats out. The sea was quite rough. We then went to a typical village, which was nice.

Rita gave us many facts about Malta as we travelled. Instead of boat trip we saw the tower where a guide told us its history as well as recalling boyhood memories concerning the tower and nearby island. Sadly as it was Mothers day we couldn't find an unreserved table in any of the cafes at market

Gozon ja Maltan välissä on vain kapea kanaali, mutta saarten erot ovat silmäänpistäviä. Gozo on vihreämpi, rennompi ja harvemmin asuttu kuin Malta.
