What to expect

Depart from Lisbon and journey to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sintra, where you can explore the incomparable beauty of its landmark monuments and attractions.

Take a short walking tour around the village and see the Moorish Castle and the Palace of Sintra. You'll also have the chance to sample some of the region's produce and replenish the calories you burned while visiting the monuments.

If you choose this option, you can visit the Pena Park, its gardens, and the Palace's exterior terraces (but not the interior).

Then head to the cliffs of Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Finally, return to Lisbon via the picturesque riverside road through the towns of Cascais and Estoril.

It was very nice trip to Sintra but didn’t have much time to go to Peña palace…. It would have been better if we had a bit more time.
