What to expect

Join this wildlife and waterfalls journey through the Maligne Valley, and enjoy a cruise on the world-famous Maligne Lake.

You'll make a 30-minute stop at Maligne Canyon to explore the two bridges offering fantastic views of the cascading waterfall. You'll continue into the Valley and rise into the sub-alpine forests and view the expanding ranges of limestone rising out of Medicine Lake. The tour continues up through the forest which is prime habitat for moose and bears. Sightings are common but not guaranteed! At Maligne Lake, you will embark on a boat tour to Spirit Island. Enjoy the blue-green glacial water and learn the human and geologic history of the area. This 90-minute journey stops at Spirit Island to allow for a walk to the famous photo viewpoint.
