Picked up 20mins late in a 1990s Mercedes. Informed it was his personal car and back seat for the dog. Sat upon dog blankets and dog toys. Driver proceeded to drive 160mph with all windows open. He had no uniform it was scary. Got to site, nobody offering advice where to go. Big piles of asbestos roof sheets and debris to floor. Tour guide rude. There was no safety briefing before starting. No route markings so we had to follow the dust trail. Quite a few sheer drops and tight turns more suitable for an adrenaline junkie. They managed to lose a buggy and the driver and passenger. Not good.

Overall we really enjoyed this, as driving the buggies was exhilarating. They travel in a line over terrain that is very rocky in places and can make them hard to handle, so it helps to be an experienced driver. The worst part was at the end, when we drove a surprisingly long way on public roads to get back to the yard. It would have been a problem if we'd become separated from the group in traffic, as we didn't know where we were going.

Pick up was late due to a breakdown so couldn’t be avoided. The driver was clearly in a hurry to get there so was speeding which was a little uncomfortable. Upon arrival we all just stood around not knowing what we were doing. Once we got going the experience was great, I would absolutely recommend, maybe a bit more info from the staff would improve things.

The guide eventually arrived at the hotel over an hour late after saying he was sat outside waiting for us. We were then barrelling along the roads at god knows what speed to arrive at an abandoned looking building. Handed over my driving licence and was then told to put goggles on but nothing else. The other buggies started to leave the compound while we were standing waiting for instructions. Our buggies clutch went and the guide just drove off leaving us stranded. Would not recommend

We thought it was buggy around dunes but it was rocky roads mainly and engine management light was on from start, buggy broke down, did supply another straight away. But disorganised at the office, didn't really know what you were meant to do. Best bit was driving on the roads lol. Had to buy a face mask but advertised as FOC and unless you picked up goggles yourself you didn't get any, didn't seem to bothered about safety.
