What to expect

Antalya Aquarium is an award-winning attraction and it's easy to see why. It boasts an amazing array of species as well as the longest aquarium tunnel on the planet. What's more, there's a Snow World and the Fear Trophy experience – a themed exhibition housing some of the world's most dangerous creatures.

Designed by a renowned Italian sculptor, the aquarium is a work of art. Coral reefs inspired him and the main tank even features a life-size aeroplane, a shipwreck and a submarine. Each installation is brimming with dozens of species of tropical fish and sharks from all over the world. There's also a special tank for jellyfish.

For a small extra cost – and if you're brave enough – you can take on the Fear Trophy, a creepy exhibit that showcases the world's deadliest snakes, spiders and more. Or at Snow World, discover a winter wonderland with igloos, Santa's grotto and cafés. You can even have a snowball fight and make snowmen. The entry cost of the Aquarium and the Wax museum are included in the tour cost.

Auf Grund der anderen Mitreißenden war ja Eile geboten. Wir werden das Aquarium wieder besuchen, dann allerdings auf eigene Faust. Wer eine Anreise von Side oder Alanya hat, ist allerdings mit diesem All-inclusive-Angebot sehr gut betreut und auch preislich auf der sicheren Seite. Highlight war für die meisten wahrscheinlich die Haifischfütterung. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Ausflug.

Im allgemeinen viel zu teuer für das, was man geboten bekommt. Die Aufenthaltszeit ist viel zu lang, sodass man noch andere Bereiche dort besichtigen muss, um die Zeit einzubringen. Die Eintrittspreise sind absolut unverschämt und keineswegs gerechtfertigt bei dem, wie die Tiere gehalten werden, und wie schnell man durch ist. Alles sehr klein

Bei 35Grad Außentemperatur und über eine Stunde Fahrzeit,sollte die Klimaanlage im Bus deutlich besser eingestellt sein/funktionieren. Das man total durchgeschwitzt ankommt und die Kinder vor lauter Hitze im Bus quengeln ist inakzeptabel. Auch sind mehr Infos über den Aufenthaltsort erforderlich und weitere Preise z.B. für das Kino... Aquarium hat sich nicht gelohnt. Vor 6 Jahren waren die Fische mehr und Haie größer. Viele tropische Fische eingetauscht gegen einheimische. Ernüchternd.

Wir waren etwas enttäuscht vom Aquarium. Wir waren sehr schnell durch und sind dann noch zwei Mal hin und her gelaufen um die Zeit zu überbrücken. Zwei Kaffee im Aquarium zum Preis von CHF 14 auch extrem überteuert. Von uns ist der Ausflug für knapp CHF 70 pro Person leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Eigentlich war nur das Aquarium ohne Extras gebucht für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind, insgesamt 150 eur. Das wäre unverschämt teuer gewesen, da man da Aquarium in einer Stunde bis höchstens 2 geschafft hat. An sich aber sehr schön. Zu unser Überraschung war dann auf dem Ticket noch die Nebenattraktionen wie Schneewelt, 4D Kino und Wildpark dabei. Großer Minuspunkt: das konnte man gar nicht schaffen, da wir nur 2,5 h Aufenthalt durch den Shuttle vorgegeben hatten.

Muzaffer, one of our expert guides, says, ‘Pamukkale is like something out of a fairytale – a spectacle of terraces formed over thousands of years that look like a cascading snowy waterfall. Legend has it, the hot thermal springs here have healing properties.'Leaving Antalya early in the morning, you'll arrive at Lake Salda after a few hours' scenic drive. It's been compared to the Maldives for its long white beaches and multi-toned blue waters. You'll have free time to take some photos of this otherworldly spot. Then we'll continue to Pamukkale for lunch. Afterwards, admire the bright white calcite terraces – they look like icy stalactites dripping from pools of sky-blue water.At the top of these travertines is Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the Byzantine Gate and marvel at the ruins as you stroll towards the vast bowl-shaped theatre. On the way back, you'll tuck into a tasty dinner in a forest restaurant, too. Full-day tour of Kekova, Myra and St Nicholas with boat trip

Authentic cuisine, a lost city and Santa – this trip offers an eclectic mix of attractions. You'll glide along the coast to Kekova island and its sunken town, then visit the church of St Nicholas and the ancient city of Myra. The rock-cut friezes carved with theatrical masks and the stacked tombs hewn into the cliffs are a unique sight. It still takes my breath away that parts of this site are thought to be around 2,500 years old.'Proceedings get under way with a scenic drive with a comfort stop at the Sahin Hill in Kumluca. Next, sail to Kekova island, a protected area famed for its underwater ruins. These are the relics of the ancient town of Simena, partially submerged by an earthquake in the 2nd century. There's time for a swim in the warmer months – the water is clear and inviting – it would be difficult to resist a dip in the sea.
