Guided Atlas Mountains 4x4 tour
From sea level to high altitude, this is a full day trip with a side-order of adventure. You'll travel by 4x4 into the Atlas Mountains from the coastal plains of Agadir to discover the Berber village of Imouzzer Ida Outanane. Jamal, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Imouzzer means “waterfall” in Berber, the language of the Atlas Mountains. Indeed, there are several waterfalls in the heart of our green valley, a place known especially for the quality of its honey.'Your High Atlas Mountains off-road adventure begins with a light breakfast and then a photo stop at the cool, palm-clad Tamzargout oasis, where you can stretch our legs. As we travel higher up into the mountains, the jaw-dropping views over Paradise Valley are sure to leave an impression. We'll arrive in the village of Immouzer to see how life in a typical Berber mountain community unfolds. On hot days, you might see local kids jumping off the rocks into the natural pools just outside the village.As you stroll around the village, you'll pass stalls selling Moroccan souvenirs and the prized local honey. Jamal says, ‘My mother used to prepare an artisanal treat known as “amlou”, made with Immouzer honey mixed with crushed almonds and argan oil, a real Berber delicacy.' Next it's time for an al fresco lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You'll have some free time to relax and take in your dramatic surroundings before we return to Agadir through a different route in the mountains.

With plenty of time to soak up the sights and sounds of Marrakech, this two-day tour immerses you into the city's colourful past and present. You'll travel from Agadir to see some of the city's highlights, experience Djemaa el-Fna by night, dine in an opulent riad and check out the seaside city of Essaouira on your way back. Ibrahim, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘I was born and bred in Essaouira, but my family moved away when I was 14. Now, when I return, I'm filled with nostalgia as I tour the alleys where I used to play football with my Arab and Jewish friends. Essaouira has always been a multicultural melting pot.'On day one, we'll hit the road to Marrakech, where on arrival you'll delve straight into the medina's warren of tightly-packed streets. Spend the morning taking in sights as we drop by places like Jardin Secret, before lunch at Dar Nejarine. After some free time to explore, we'll head to Djemaa el-Fna at dusk – the best time to see it – before a tasty dinner and traditional entertainment in a riad.On day two we'll head to the coastal city of Essaouira. Its mellow atmosphere, narrow winding streets laden with kaleidoscopic carpets, peeling-paint houses with and heavy old wooden doors make it a wonderful place to wander around. Walk the ramparts of the harbour, known as the Skala, where electric-blue boats bob in the water, or discover the atmospheric medina. There's a lunch stop included followed by free time to explore, before returning to Agadir in the early evening.

From Agadir, you can easily head out into the surrounding countryside to discover lush green oases and historic walled towns. You'll travel to the palm-filled oasis of Tiout, get to know the traditional way of life in Taroudant and even spot a few tree-climbing goats along the way.

Agadir Crocoparc is one of Morocco's top things to do. It's home to 400 crocodiles, some of which are over 4 metres long. Watch them dozing on the banks and peering from the water, and coo over the beady-eyed baby crocs in the nursery. And if you're here at feeding time, there's another treat – watching the adults fight over chunks of raw meat.

You'll visit Immouzer, well-known for its Thursday market, and Paradise Valley, which is just as beautiful as its name suggests.You'll head out of Agadir towards Immouzer stopping along the way to take in the verdant landscape of Tamzargout oasis and enjoy a short walk through the olive grove. Once we arrive at Immouzer, we'll take you to see the waterfall the town is famous for, where you have some free time to wander around. Note that drought has affected the waterfall – it's now known for its natural plunge pool.We'll return into the centre of Immouzer to visit the souk that comes alive every Thursday when locals from the surrounding villages come and trade goods. After some time shopping for spice sets and handmade souvenirs, you'll start the drive back to Agadir.

Sunset camel trek and barbecue experience
It's the classic mode of transportation in Morocco – a camel caravan. On this sunset tour, you'll tower above the dunes of Tamri Beach and ride alongside the Atlantic Ocean. Then round off the evening with a freshly sizzled barbecue dinner in the open air.After pick-up from your hotel, you'll arrive at the beach ready for your sandy adventure. After a safety briefing, you'll sway, two people per camel, through the undulating dunes towards Tamri Beach where you'll have the best vantage point to spot the changing colours of the sunset.After a leisurely 90-minute ride complete with sweeping views of the ocean, it's time to head for the ranch, surrounded by olive groves and palm trees with the Atlas Mountains in the distance. You'll visit top sights such as Jemaa el-Fnaa, the Koutoubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace. From Agadir, we'll travel to Marrakech by coach. Kick off with a visit to the outside of the architecturally significant Koutoubia Mosque, a medieval masterpiece that's the city's most recognisable landmark. You'll then head to the Bahia Palace - another outstanding example of Islamic art and architecture. After lunch in the opulent surroundings of a riad, you'll visit Ben Youssef Madrasa and then venture into the maze of souks for a guided tour around the medina. As part of this tour, we offer a shopping stop, where you can indulge in the city's vibrant shopping scene. This is an optional stop and can be customized to your preferences.Next up is the pulsating Jemaa el-Fnaa square – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The life and soul of the city, you'll have free time to explore, shop, sample some street food, or just soak up the atmosphere of this bustling area. We round off with a dinner show featuring traditional dance and music. Then there's free time or the chance to explore the nighttime excitement of Jemaa el-Fnaa with your guide.
