If you want an ultimate experience visiting two cities in one, then look no further. Starting with a pickup on your hotel, drive past Adelaide's cultural precinct, including North Terrace, the National Wine Centre, Adelaide Botanic Gardens and the beautiful Botanic Park, and the Adelaide Zoo. Then, continue through historic North Adelaide, where you can see tree-lined streets, mansions, and historic buildings.
You will then stop for a visit at the iconic St Peters Cathedral or the newly developed Adelaide Oval. Then travel through the city's east on the way to the he National Wine Centre of Australia where you can enjoy a 30 minute to have free time to explore the Wine Discovery Journey Museum. There will be a break for lunch (own expense), and then join your next tour and head to the Adelaide Hills. On your way, take in the spectacular views of the city and the coastline and stop at Mount Lofty Summit, Adelaide’s highest peak for a perfect photo opportunity. Wind your way through the Adelaide Hills villages of Crafers, Stirling, Aldgate, and Bridgewater before arriving at the Beerenberg Farm Shop. At the farm shop, you can try their high-quality products and purchase them to bring for friends and family.
Finally, you will go to Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German settlement. Spend your free time in the afternoon to explore the main street of Hahndorf where you can sample local produce, check out the local arts and crafts. Then, you can enjoy afternoon tea or a traditional German beer tasting at Hahndorf Inn. Once the tour is over, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.
