This tour gives you the chance to visit mountains and see the remains of Moorish and Roman existence in Algarve.
Admire Silves's (then the old Moorish Capital) castle and cathedral. Climb the Monchique mountains to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve and enjoy free time for wine tasting and taking spectacular photos. You'll then make your way down to the mountains to have lunch.
After lunch, you'll journey over to the beautiful town of Lagos to see its highlights. You can visit the old indoor slave market, Saint Anthony’s golden church, the fort and the old town.
Afterward, you'll continue on to Cabo de São Vicente, the most southwestern point of continental Europe known as the “end of the word”. Visit the strongest lighthouse in Europe, Baleeira, a beautiful fishing harbor, and pass by the Fortaleza – home of Prince Henry’s School of Navigations.
