Paseando por Guadix viajarás en el tiempo a través de diferentes culturas y civilizaciones. Sin embargo, si observas su arquitectura, comprenderás el importante papel que ha jugado la religión en el desarrollo de la ciudad: la Catedral y las iglesias de Santa Ana, Santo Domingo y San Francisco serán solo algunos ejemplos.
El recorrido también incluirá la visita al Parque Megalítico, un yacimiento arqueológico adaptado para su visita, situado en el término municipal de Gorafe y que, por sus numerosos monumentos funerarios, constituye uno de los mejores ejemplos de megalitismo del sur peninsular. En él se visitarán lugares como la Acequia del Toril, el centro paleontológico de Fonelas o el Puntal de Don Diego, entre otros.
