Efter att du blivit upphämtad på hotellet transporteras du upp till ca 1 900 meter vid Rifugio Sapienza på den södra sidan av Etna där du hoppar av bussen. På vägen dit får du lära dig allt om Etna och dess explosiva bakgrund, sen ser du allt med egna ögon. Och oroa dig inte – det kommer att finnas massor av fakta för små och stora att ta till sig också. Sedan får du lite tid att utforska på egen hand. Därefter byter du till linbana och terrängfordon som kommer ta dig till huvudkratern. Glöm inte att ta med dig en kamera på denna utflykt.

You'll be driven from Taormina to Rifugio Sapienza, where – if you've chosen to go up to 2,900 metres – you'll switch to a cable car and 4x4 vehicle to reach the main crater for a guided walk and some epic views. If you opt to stay at 1,900 metres, there's free time to explore the nature trails around the Silvestri Craters, along with souvenir shops, cafés and a small museum that tells the story of the mountain's past.
