Auf dieser kombinierten Tour erfahren Sie mehr über die faszinierenden Wale und fahren hinaus, um sie zu beobachten! Eine Walbeobachtungstour in der Faxaflói-Bucht außerhalb von Reykjavik und ein Besuch der Ausstellung „Whales of Iceland“ geben Ihnen einen guten Einblick in das Leben dieser fantastischen Kreaturen. Sie können wählen, ob Sie mit einer Walbeobachtungstour oder einem Besuch der Ausstellung „Whales of Iceland“ beginnen möchten. Beide sind etwa 12 Gehminuten voneinander entfernt.

Gehen Sie an Bord einer Classic- oder Express-Walbeobachtungstour und beobachten Sie Wale in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum. Buckelwale, Zwergwale, Weißschnauzendelfine und Schweinswale werden häufig in der Faxaflói-Bucht gesichtet. Es kann schwierig sein, sich die Größe dieser Tiere im Wasser vorzustellen. In der Ausstellung „Whale of Iceland“ können Sie maßstabsgetreue Modelle bewundern und so ein besseres Verständnis gewinnen. Hier sehen Sie alle 23 Arten, die im Laufe der Geschichte in isländischen Gewässern gefunden wurden, in Originalgröße und erfahren viel Wissenswertes über die Wale und ihre Geschichte.

Die Ausstellung „Whales of Iceland“ befindet sich in der Fiskislóð 23–25, Reykjavík 101.

Bei Whales of Iceland gibt es täglich um 10:30 Uhr und 13:30 Uhr eine Führung in englischer Sprache. Diese ist für alle mit einer Eintrittskarte zur Ausstellung ohne zusätzliche Kosten zugänglich.
Sie müssen nur für die Walbeobachtungstour eine Abfahrtszeit auswählen, nicht jedoch für die Ausstellung. Das Ausstellungsticket ist ein offenes Ticket, d. h. Sie können am Tag Ihrer geplanten Tour frei wählen, wann Sie gehen möchten.
Sollten Sie auf der Tour keine Wale sehen, können Sie gerne kostenlos an einer anderen Tour teilnehmen.

Boat was lovely, I think it was rather crowded to be honest not much room to move or sit down if needed. Just disappointed with the value for money.
