Beschreibung

Unter der Leitung eines erfahrenen Fahrerführers haben Sie die Möglichkeit, alle Highlights dieser beliebten Route in einer Gruppe mit maximal 18 Teilnehmern zu sehen, damit Sie das Beste aus Ihrem Erlebnis machen können.

Sie erkunden zunächst den Thingvellir-Nationalpark, ein historisches und geologisches Wahrzeichen und UNESCO-Welterbe. Er ist bekannt als Gründungsort des ersten Parlaments des Landes und bietet auch einen hervorragenden Blick auf den Nordatlantischen Rücken.

Ihr nächster Halt ist der Große Geysir, ein Ort geothermischer Wunder. Spüren Sie die Kraft der Hitze im Boden, atmen Sie den schwefelhaltigen Dampf des heißen Wassers ein und erleben Sie die spektakulären Eruptionen des Geysirs Strokkur, der alle 5 bis 10 Minuten ausbricht.

Der Gullfoss-Wasserfall gilt als einer der schönsten der 30.000 Wasserfälle Islands. Sie machen dort einen Zwischenstopp, bevor Sie zum Kerið-Krater weiterfahren, einem beeindruckenden Kratersee mit milchig-blaugrünem Wasser, umgeben von schroffen schwarzen und tiefroten Hängen.

Sie besuchen die Blaue Lagune und genießen dort ein Bad im entspannenden geothermischen Wasser, bevor Sie nach Reykjavík zurückkehren.

If you want to escape the city and see a bit more of Iceland, this trip is ideal. Iceland is famous for its glaciers but until recently, what lies underneath the Langjokull glacier had been a mystery. In 2010, the first manmade Glacier Ice Cave was carved to take people inside the heart of this remote glacier ice cap. What's more, you'll also visit the Hraunfossar Waterfall.After arriving at Husafell base, you'll climb onto a rugged snow truck to start your ascent to the ice cave, exploring the rugged glacial landscape along the way. An experienced guide will lead the way inside, where you'll see the magnificent blue ice buried deep beneath the surface that stays at a constant temperature of 0°.All this is combined with stunning waterfalls and panoramic views of the mountains as you make your way north to the glacier. And on our return, you might – with luck – catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights dancing through the sky.
