Fügen Sie durch diesen Tagesausflug Ihrem Reisepass einen weiteren Stempel hinzu. Sie tauschen die Türkei gegen Griechenland und machen einen kurzen Trip über die Ägäis zur Insel Rhodos.

Nach einer Katamaranfahrt erreichen Sie Rhodos-Stadt. Erkunden Sie hier den hübschen Hafen, die ummauerte Altstadt und die vornehme Neustadt. Den Vormittag verbringen Sie damit, Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die charmante Straße der Ritter und den riesigen Palast der Großmeister zu besichtigen. Spazieren Sie durch das Labyrinth der gepflasterten Straßen mit ihren Brunnen, mittelalterlichen Kirchen und Geschäften mit handgefertigten Waren und griechischen Köstlichkeiten. Zum Mittagessen haben Sie die Wahl zwischen versteckten Bistros und belebten Bars am Wasser.

Später können Sie zum Hafen von Mandraki fahren. Hier befand sich einst der Koloss von Rhodos - eine 30 Meter hohe Götterstatue, die in der Antike zu den sieben Weltwundern zählte.

Really enjoyed visiting Rhodes. The ferry was busy, I was disappointed that outside views were restricted and there was a lot of queuing in both directions. Not great value for money compared to a ferry journey in Scotland which would be less than half the price.

3hrs to get there. 4 hours there. 3 hours back. Passport control etc made it very difficult and no advice on what to do or where to go on arrival. Just left to our own devices.

Gorgeous day trip weather was boiling and Rhodes was so pretty. Boat trip was fine and return trip.

I feel we should be given until 6pm to leave and get back, and not 3.30pm. This woukd be better to see more of the island and worth the money spent. Overall we are planning on heading back to Rhodes for another trip soon.

Great trip. Boat left Marmaris at 9am took 1hr to reach Rhodes. Had 5.5hrs to roam in Rhodes old town. Plenty of markets, bars restaurants. Lovely scenery beautiful place to visit. Highly recommend. Lots of museums take aaround1hr each.
