Delfine in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung zu beobachten, ist eines der großartigsten Erlebnisse, die Gran Canaria zu bieten hat. An Bord der Spirit of the Sea – zertifiziert von der World Cetacean Alliance für verantwortungsvolle Wal- und Delfinbeobachtung – können Sie diese freundlichen und intelligenten Tiere in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum beobachten.


Es gibt sechs verschiedene Delfinarten zu sehen, darunter Große Tümmler und Gemeine Delfine. Und auch Finnwale – das zweitgrößte Säugetier – und Grindwale sind regelmäßig zu sehen. Ein Drittel aller Walarten, zu denen auch Wale und Schweinswale gehören, ist in diesen Gewässern zu finden.


Dank des Aussichtsbereichs der Spirit of the Sea können Sie auch nach anderen Lebewesen Ausschau halten – nach Schildkröten, fliegenden Fischen und farbenprächtigen Papageienfischen. Außerdem gibt es einen Badestopp, wenn Sie sich im Wasser abkühlen möchten.

    Trotz intensiver Bemühungen der Crew, haben wir leider weder Wale noch Delfine gesehen. Dafür gab es einen Gutschein zum Wiederholen der Tour. Das ist ein guter Zug. Crew und Kapitän sehr nett. Es wurde deutsch gesprochen. Bitte unbedingt Hinweise zu Sonnenschutz und Reisekrankheit mit aufnehmen. Leider versteht man aber auf dem Oberdeck die Bandansage nicht wirklich. Sonst toller Ausflug

    The pick-up bus was 25 minutes late with no comms. The boat trip was very choppy (in good weather) with lots and lots of kids and adults vomiting throughout. Great to see lots of dolphins but a strong stomach is needed.

    Loved the boat trip, saw a huge pod of dolphins and lots of flying fish. Transport back wasn’t as impressive as the driver decided to not drop off to hotels but a nearby bus stop. He failed to mention this to the whole bus so we only realised when he was driving away from our hotel area. At the next stop we asked and he told us we should have got off previously and we would have to walk the 20 minutes back to our hotel!! Not great.

Cruising off the coast of the Gran Canaria has always been fun but this boat tour makes it even better. You can now hop off at any of the ports the Blue Bird boat docks in and wander around before hopping back on when the next one sails into port.The itineraries vary and cover four coastal towns in the southwest – Arguineguin, Anfi del Mar, Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogan.
